Writing

I believe the phrase is, “It’s been a minute” since I last wrote anything here.

I think I may have finished writing my second novel, Every Day is Saturday. (The first, Repair: A romance of sorts is on the new Books page.) I think it’s a good story, a moving story about the loss of a parent (what a fun read). The trouble is, it’s really short. Like less than 58,000 words.

I didn’t write it through NaNoWriMo, although I’ve supported them for years. I started EDIS in January of this year. Parts of it flowed; parts stumbled along like me trying to wear heels.

More details on that as events warrant, such as when I get it edited, and start badgering agents and/or publishers about it. Any suggestions on people who might want a short novel?
